About Profac
Professional façades, since 2018.
A specialist building envelope contractor founded to fill a simple gap: high-quality installation, delivered by people who understand the systems and the regulations.
Herculaneum Quay, LiverpoolOur story
Grown organically, one building at a time.
Andy Gait spent years at Alumasc Façades watching good systems let down by poor installation. In 2018 he set up Profac to do it properly, and the business has grown steadily ever since, towards a forecast £7m turnover in 2026.
Today we’re a specialist cladding remediation and building envelope contractor working with cost consultants, architects, main contractors, housing associations and the Building Safety Regulator on higher-risk buildings across the UK.
We provide in-house solutions: design, specification, installation and quality management, all aligned to the Building Safety Act and the Golden Thread.
